HORNET evolved from the demise of two local, punk-rock-n-roll bands from Kalamazoo, Michigan known as TROCAR and FIRST TO THE FENCE back in the fall of 2004. Since its beginning, Hornet has played many local shows with great local and national acts, performed for benefits for local organizations and release it's first full-length CD on FRICTION RECORDS in July of 2006. Hornet continues to perform locally and regionally, while taking breaks in between for births of children and life-changing events.
